Hmmm, that's a good question Ted.
I have no doubt it will pass emissions, but it doesn't have "carb" approval.
50/50 chance, depending on the emissions tech and local laws.
It's pretty much a direct swap, right up until you bolt on the accessory bracket and a/c compressor. You have to do some modifying there.
The M1 uses a different thermostat housing(LA style)but the same hose.
I had to mill the fuel rail bosses about 3/16" to get the injectors to seat all the way, but I haven't heard of anyone else with that problem.
I decided to post this to the group, because these are common questions concerning the M1 install.
Daniel Colucci from Chicago(I think), was running a M1 on his Vortech s/c'd R/T (he sold it back).
He said it worked a lot better than stock, with his s/c.
