Coast Guard, hugh. I never would have thought of that, but now that you say
it, it makes sense. After all GPS started as a military application. I'll
give our local guys a call and see if they've got anything to offer... In the
meantime, if you get any good tips be sure and post 'em to the off-topic list
so I can read them.

I found out about just by coincidence I guess, when I was reading a little
'home-town' newspaper and the heading of GPS caught my eye. It is being
offered by the US Coat Guard. Also, I have seen many GPS courses offered at
Gander Mountain and Bass Pro Shops, both of which are only a few miles from
my house. I would call around maybe and see if your local Coast Guard offers
comething, or even maybe a local college? I know they sell VHS tapes on GPS
use, but I am sure you are like myself, and would rather learn hands on and
take a good course in in. I will keep my eyes open and let you know if I see
anything worthwhile which may interest you.
