Yeah, I still miss my fury. Finally had to sell it since everything was
failing at once. The last straw was when the windshield wiper motor fell
off and landed on my foot in a nasty summer storm. Ouch!
2000 Ext Cab/4WD/4.7liter/Auto Dakota:
I had considered the 5 spd for a long time but friends said that when I
towed a boat or trailer that I'd thank myself for getting the auto. I'm
still not convinced with what I read on auto trannys slipping and
shifting hard and just plain failing in a few hundred or thousand miles.
Have any of you folks out there had bad luck with a 2000/4.7liter/auto
combination?
