That friggin insurance company managed to screw me after all. I dug up all
of my reciepts and I have 1879.00 worth of extras on the truck, none of
which they are gonna spring for. I could take them to court but would it
really be worth the cost? To have a prayer of winning, I would hae to hire a
<shudder> lawyer and pay more than I could get back (unless I could talk the
judge into making THEM pay court costs.)
Anyway, I talked to the Dodge dealership and they are going to let me take
my nerf bars, toolbox and exhaust off the truck tomorrow. The insurance deal
wasn't finalized today like it should have been so the truck is still mine.
It also means that it will probably be another week until I can buy a new
one... where the hell I am gonna scrape together the downpayment is another
thing...
I have a line of equity on the house I can use but damn it, those bastards
screwed me but good.
Not a happy camper....
