Let's finalize this debate here, being a FORMER S-10 owner. The
pre-Vortec V-6's were O-K, the 2.8 had 125hp, and the 4.3 had 160hp. The
Vortec 4.3 had 190hp, and I think that came on in '91 or '92 as an
option. It should be a good run, with his weight advantage overcoming
your HP advantage.
