i have read this post four times and i still can't figure out what you are
trying to say.
[stlaurents] I would agree and so would my better half. Being a Computer
Engineer by trade made the English language second to the machine language
on a computer. I had noticed over the years more deeply you come involve in
the computer business, your mind seems to work faster than the insufficient
hands at typing the thought to be conveyed on the cyber screen. Even
non-computer tradesman, in a conversation would be confused when receiving
more than one thought pattern at once. But another engineer would
understand this type of conversation at once with amazing clarity.

<< First of all, you didn't read the e-mail very well to comprehend
anything.
Then I noticed your signature, revealing that you have a RC when I plainly
stated that it was a 'CC'. Excuse me Matt, even I can see the difference
in
weight just by viewing the vehicle with mine eyes.

<<About the 97MPH, since you never owned a 2000 CC 4.7, auto with an 3:55
rear
gear, tell me the weight of this vehicle, then tell me the speed limiter is
 set at? >>
[stlaurents] It started from the question on HP rated for 5.9 and a 4.7. I
replied to the effect, '...do the HP versus the weight of the vehicle.'
Then remark came back saying that the R/T weighs less than the CC. Seeing
the extra equipment the R/T has to carry versus the 4.7 Sport, whether it is
a RC or CC, it didn't matter. To me, it was incorrect information and this
set off the incomplete run-on sentence e-mail. Instead I should ran a
dialog when answering to his reply In another words, I didn't take the time
to answer in a dialog but did a engineering approach-short to point answer
with little added justification.

the part above in particular is confusing to me. the part at the beginning
about matt not having driven that particular vehicle makes sense but what
are
you trying to say about the speed limiter?
[stlaurents] He was saying his speed limiter on his RC 4.7 was the only
correct one at 116MPH. I made mentioned in a dialog racing against a Toyota
Tacoma when my speed limiter cut off the fuel flow at exactly 97MPH. I been
there and done it several time trying a work around this speed limiter cut
off. Same approach we (Computer Engineer) use to find a solution to program
errors. Not all vehicles are like. My has a Auto Variable four speed
transmission and a 3:55 rear gears. This was that augment or a
disagreement.
Sometime a thread maybe received with another person answering it and the
last receiver is not only answering to your first message but to the last
reply that was sent. You are held guilty to both threads.

<<Next time read the e-mail and its contents before replying. And
maybe I should do the same on the HP Rated e-mail.>>

<< But I would apologize for miscommunication before in the HP rating e-mail
if I was in error. >>

in the above line are you trying to say you made an error in a prior post
and
apologized for it?
[stlaurents] There is some awesome information here that you can never glean
from DC itself. A place where people have already built a better truck with
self-experience. But arguing over a silly issue will not solve anything and
cause contention. Matt may have some information I may need later that will
prove beneficial to my needs. Then, I should have not butted in on his
thread about the HP ratings for the 5.9 or 4.7.

<<But the facts are facts. Not just me, but those test driven magazine
from
Truck
Trend to Car & Driver, stating the same. The 4.7 CC and 5.9 CC R/T did not
share all the same parts. >>

i am not trying to be offensive to you steven but in your writing i am
seeing
the pattern of a man translating from one language to another. is english
not your first tongue?
[stlaurents] Derek, shameful no. Computer language is (ha ha) my first and
only language.
Do we have any Computer Scientists or Engineers on DML list? Derek, ask
them the question is the English language there first language. You will be
amazed at the responses or remarks. By the way, ask them about trying to
communicate in any conversation with their better half (wives or
girlfriends) and see the reply. <chuckle>
Thanks! I am not insulted but very great full to be among the best. That
includes you Matt!

Your friend Steve
