Subject: DML: enginesHello All,I am thinking of buying a Dakota Truck.
I was thumbing through the brochure and I noticed that they replaced the old
V8 with a new 4.7 L Magnum.My Questions:
Does anybody out there have any information whether this is a good engine?
How bad is it on gas.Is it reliable? You know
Any such info would be greatly appreciated.Andy

Andy, I'd like to say that after seeing the "Kellogg Quad" in action at the
Texas DML meet, I'm damn impressed. Frontis' truck was turning in very
respectable times in the 1/4 (15.4's at 92/93 as best as I recall) with a
five speed. That's with 1800 miles on the clock, too. Only mods were a 3"
cat back exhaust. R/T guys betta watch out!!!

As far as it being reliable, it didn't blow up while I was there. :)
