Contact Cal-Karts in San Jose, CA. They're the #1 shop that I know of.

As for the higher-revs, Crane makes some decent cams for the B/S motors
(that's Briggs & Stratton for those who are giggling right now) as well as a
very stong valvetrain (springs, keepers, retainers). As for the actual
valves, i've heard that you can get either sodium filled or titanium but
haven't dug deep enough to find them.

As for the engine working on something like my "run of the mill" WalMart
Go-Kart, I really couldn't tell ya. From the Jr. Dragsters that i've seen,
the engine swap should work but there's always the shaft specs that you have
to watch. They come in various sizes so make sure that you either get the
right one, or make sure that you can get the proper sized chain-drive
assembly.

I'll be swapping out the Tecumseh engine for a Briggs & Stratton this summer
so i'll have more details on this. (Yes, i'll be spending about $400 on the
engine and driveline. Found a way to build a solid axle in the rear...gets
rid of the one-legger.)
