Gang, there seems to be some confusion as to the scoop I put on my hood. IT
REALLY IS AN AAR SCOOP.It truely is like the kind that came on the '70s
Cuda's and Challengers. It comes up about 3-1/2 inches high and is around 26
inches wide and 35 inches long.It has to be attached with rivets(cheap and
tacky looking, unless you fiberglass and bondo over it to blend in.) It even
has the raised front portion where you can put your hand under the snorkel.
I used for the attachment some carrage bolts and I think they look very
mechanical and gives it that MEAN LOOK--along with the flat black that I
used. SO when I say that it is an AAR scoop--it's an AAR SCOOP. I do know
the OLD MUSCLE CARS. Also the YENKO that I mentioned was made by Yenko
Chevrolet and used on mostly Nova's and Camaro's(maybe others) and they were
VERY FAST. They say YENKO on the hood and rear quarters.
tim-- '95 with an AAR SCOOP.
