I agree with Clay. Furthermore - the T/A scoop is MUCH more functional according
to Ma Mopar. There was a writeup on it a few years ago in one of the Mopar rags.
Said that the T/A design was one of the only designs that was tall enough to be
above the "boundary layer" (or something like that) and into the "good air"???
Most of the other designs just sat in a slow moving, stale pressure area close to
the hood. This is the basis of why those that claim to be "ram air" are really
nothing but "cooler air" setups.
