    If you can afford it, definitely go for one of the V8s. If gas
mileage is an issue, the 4.7 will probably do a little better in that
category than the 360. The v6 isn't going to get much better gas
mileage (if any better) than the 4.7. We've seen this time and time
again on the DML when comparing the 6 and the "old" 5.2l V8 (which should
get even less gas mileage than the 4.7). The 6 has to work harder than
an 8 to get the truck moving, so the gas mileage isn't that much
different. Especially so when you try to tow something. The QC being
heavier than the RC and CC Daks will only aggrivate the situation. Plus,
the 4.7 will be a lot more fun to drive, should be able to tow much more,
should last longer (since it isn't worked as hard as a 6 would be) and
the resale value should be higher too. IMHO, the V8 is the way to go.
Be sure to get a sure grip (limited slip) rearend.
