In my search for a good, fuctional, and great looking center console, I
think I may adapt a center console meant for CJs/Wranglers. All I really
need to do is determine the width I need, as there are varieties ranging
from 6.5"wide all the way to 12" wide. I really like the lockable feature
many have, but the prices are kind of higher than what I would like to pay,
but probably will pay it anyways. I just love the idea of having a metal
lockable center console which is bolted down!!! Has anyone had experience
with Tuffy, Steel Horse, or MasteRac? I simply love the construction and
design of the MasteRac consoles, but "won't pay" $300 for one. Any thoughts?
