Instead of welding on an aluminum plate, I can make some bolt on plates
if anyone would like. All I need are the dimensions and hole
sizes/locations or a drawing.
I was thinking of spotwelding two alum. plates together. One the size of
the plenum opening at the botton of the manifold and the second, the
size of the original plate. This way, you can isolate the gasket from
the forces that cause it to fail. Good or bad idea?
