Hopefully this will help with the brake question. New or remanufactured will
not hurt the pads.
The only thing you may need to do is scuff the rotors surface with a D/A or
sandpaper in your hand.
This will get rid of most squeeling or chatter, which should stop within a
few miles anyway, but since
you are there, rid yourself of the possibility. $40 bucks is the average for
those rotors also. hope this will give you some reassurance.
