I'd run a 180 degree thermostat. With the electrical fan, your cooling
system might not keep up as well as the stock belt driven fan. (trust me on
this one) Get the BIGGEST fan you can get, or better yet, but that dual 12"
fan, When money permits, I'm going to get a dual 12" fan setup. Nothing's
better than sitting in traffic and watching your car slowly overheat.
(happened once in Florida, Darn that state is evil!) guess I better keep
the dakota up in the "cooler" states.

gonna
 put an electric fan on and i have headers on the way.Do I need to change my
 thermostat and if so how do i determine which temp i need? Im heading out to
 get the fan tomorrow so hopefully I'll know more before I leave.Suggestions
 on fan would be appreciated too.Thank You
