Yeah, they are funny (cute?) little things ain't they! Whenever I'm behind one
of 'em I keep thinking of hotwheels or the little wind up cars everybody has as
a kid... If ya' rip one apart (like most boys do) it looks like the mini SUV's
use the same wire "axles" that are on the hotwheels! It must save them a ton
of money --you know, economies of scale and that sort of thing. :-)

I wonder what that would have done to the Rav4 I bumped last June. I
just tapped it, hit the spare tire, and did no damage. But what would
that bumper have done to that little thing?

Side note: Ever notice the rear driveshafts on those mini-SUVs are about as
thick as a pencil? I think you could bend one by looking at it funny.
