Mike,
First off, what is your front axle? I thought it was sometype of Dana35C
Hybrid, yes/no? If you do indeed have a Dana35 front end, you can swap in
4.10s or even 4.56s. Secondly, are you sure you have a 8 1/4 rear diff?? I
thought GenIII V8 Daks have 9 1/4" rear diffs. Either way, I am positive you
can go with numerically higher gears in both diffs, granted you have a 35
front axle. Find out for sure what axles you have first and then call the
better gear shops, they will be able to tell you what gears are available
along with prices. Try some of these for starters:
