There's a program called InterMute available from www.intermute.com that
I've been using for well over a year and it does an excellent job of
blocking those annoying pop-ups and the ads that make downloading take so
long. Go to their site and download the program free for thirty days. I
use both Netscape predominately and IE when I have no choice.
