I ran the MSD-6A on the 99 with the stock coil and with N9YC champions
gapped for .045. This really helped with the lopey cam and the misfire check
engine lights. When I took it off,
the truck stumbled at stop lights, wanting to die, any ran rich when I
stomped on it. I have put 2 on trucks down here, including the V-6 Dak, who
saw the biggest gain with the stock coil and wires.
