I haven't noticed it do anything wrong to chrome. The Castrol Super Clean is
great stuff. I didn't mention that it also will pull all the oil out of your
skin as well. It'll actually start to burn if left on your skin very long.
Your skin will dry, crack, and peel if you are exposed to straight Super Clean
for more than a few minutes. Again, don't ask me how I know this.
"Honey.... did you read the cautions on this label?" "uh... no...dear...
was I supposed to?? Besides, they're just for sissies anyway..."
So you definitely want to wear gloves as well. I havn't noticed it damage
any plastics or metals either, it just likes to eat enamel. It is a very
strong base basically. Kinda like a super strong Formula 409 or Fantastic.
