I didn't think so...especially on MPI systems. No need for them.
Here's one last item to ponder on the validity of the Texas "Emissions
Check":
If they are failing vehicles because of "Tampered Emissions Controls" or
"Modified from Stock Configuration", why don't they fail the vehicles that
have dual exhaust coming out the back? The BAR-90 (and BAR-97) both clearly
state that the emissions controls only go as far as the cat...anything
beyond the catalytic converter is Non-Emissions related. So what makes
Texas so special on their "Non Factory Configuration"? Sorry people, not
even the Lonestar state can beat that one.
