I don't have the R/T wheels but I have the fancy smansy 15x8.5's and I took a
small chunk out of mine fairly easily when I went onto the shoulder of a dirt
road and clipped a small rock... I was only going 10-15 mph. I don't think
R/T's are allowed on dirt roads <g>, but I personally think it's pretty easy to
chip up the fancy wheels.

>>Well to elaborate I recently purchased a New/Used R/T and After
bringing it
home I looked at the spare wheel and a chunk was out of it. I suspect
that
it was damaged severely. Hence the question.<<
I would suspect he slid it into a curb, got it fixed, and sold it. My old
roomate had an 86 IROC and we took a nice chunk out of his wheel when he
hit a curb trying to go sideways around a turn... it takes a good amount
of force to take a chunk out of a wheel...
