I priced a 4.7, 5 spd, CC, 4X4, Sport(fog lights, tire & handling group,
ac and rear stabilizer) w/ anti-spin, 4 wheel ABS, Heavy Duty service
group, Tilt/Cruise, 6X9 pwr. mirrors, Skip plates, 6 way pwr seat and
destination charge. Which is the truck I have.
I just reran "carorder" prices to see if I wrote something down wrong
since it was late at night when I ran the numbers the first time. The
first time I got an invoice of $21,596, MSRP $24,280 and a sales/carorder
price of $22,520. When I reran the selections today I got $21,264,
$23,890 and $22,188 respectively. The only difference I noticed was
there was a cooling option ($51) that I did not notice last night, but I
don't know why the price is so different. In any case at the dealerships
I was quoted an invoice price of $21,954, and I brought the truck for
$100 under invoice. With the processing fee my final price was $21,908,
before rebates. That is still under the price I got today from carorder
by $280. But if carorder is the best price you can get in your area, I
hope it works out good for you.
