I don't know who makes it, but my Javelin has a oil drain valve that's been
there for about 20 years....and it's never leaked. (Brass 90 degree valve
with a silver tab for the actual valve that locks.)

I have one and have not had any problems with it. It is nice to put a hose
on adn let the oil go. Keeps down the mess. Has a locking tab that keeps it
locked shut.
