I used 1w30 mobile 1 with no problem or noise and now use Amsoil 0w30
still no noise. There is a clicking noise that you can hear with the
hood open but I believe that to be injector noise. I do know that multi
port injected engines do have injector noise that can sould like rocker
arm noise. I now have 18,000 on my 99 R/T and it has never used any oil
between 5k changes on synthetic oil.
