as for messing up the computer,
how many differnt companys make cams for sixers?
and how many grinds are available?
i would like to get a cam with more lift and duration,and with steeper ramps
(since i'll install stiffer srings).but with close,-to only a tad more,
overlap.
overlap is what will screw up the vacuum at lower rpms.
i don't feel that i'll need any extra overlap do to the porting work i plan
on doing
if the all the specs on the hi perf cams i find have too much overlap..i'll
retain the stock cam and use 1:7 rollers on it (wich should work nicely in
conjunction with headers)
idon't plan on racing the truck..the sixxer has enough power to do all the
work i need out of it, i just though a bit more power would help out some of
the towing and highway manners.
and yes it's an automatic (gasp).. my next dak will have a stick though
