Ok, Ok guys...I think my post might have been just a little misunderstood
here...let me clarify.
"...A real stereo type...?" Me? C'mon now, give me a break! That is the
farthest thing from what I am... No, as much as you might like to think I am
a gangster that lives on the edge of society's norms, well, sorry to
disappoint, but no that is not me. I am older than most folks on this list,
and pretty conservative to boot. Never had a criminal bone in my body...just
hate driving slow.
And I'd have to say that if a policeman typed me, well, let's just say that
he or she would likely find me to be part of the solution, not part of the
problem. And, BTW, if you reread my post you'd see that I made an allowance
for speeding due to emergencies.
I am not dinging law enforcement at all, just calling it the way I see it,
and here in my state, on four-lane highways I see our law enforcement
officials moving at high rates of speed most of the time unless they are
running radar. Sorry if I offended anyone, but that's just the way it is
here (and I received many emails agreeing with that comment from other
DML'ers...hmmm, go figure...one guy asked me which part of Texas I lived in
:^) Finally, I have many friends in law enforcement, and believe me, they
get a much harder time from me about it than you saw in my earlier post.
They usually just laugh and mutter something about "Well, you would too if
it was you..."
Well, yes, I probably would. 'Nuf said.
