I haven’t used the Redline ATF in any automatics, but they recommend the
75W90 for Limited Slip (plus a 4oz. bottle of their additive)and the 75W90NS
for Open Differentials (no additive). I’ve personally run the Redline 20W50
in my old Camaro a few times but the only “Performance Increase” I noticed
was that the oil didn’t break down as quick with the High Pressure/High
Volume pump I had. For regular street use, they’re a little bit expensive
for changing the oil every 3500-5000 miles.

Subject: DML: Red Line Oils
I want to change all my oils in my 1996 Dakota to synthetic oils, I've herd
Red Line is the best. Any suggestions on what weights to use for the
differentials, transfer case and an automatic transmission? When changing
ATF is there a way to get the old ATF out of the torc converter? Will the
Red Line synthetic ATF blend ok with the Chrysler ATF? If anyone made this
change over I would appreciate any suggestion or ideas. thanks
