The ATI kit is now supplied with a Intercooler and a hefty price for
4150.00. But then with a 8-10 PSI boost I expect a whopping 375-390 rear
wheel HP. From here the 4.7 or 360 guys will need to change the fuel pump
and injectors. The Vortech V-2 did away the noise and retain the cooler
though. Yes! There are some trade offs.

As a note. I saw pretty serious knock on my 6lb powerdyne especially whe it
was hot out). Going to the 24lb injectors fixed this, but it shows that
even at 6lbs (and I was only seeing about 4.5 of actual boost) you can get
pretty close to the edge. For any blower setup you should probably get
larger injectors and an ignition-retard unit (which I am still lacking).
Also when I was trying to decide on a blower, I decided against the ATI
because I was told they run REALLY hot (like you need to have an intercooler
to use them). I went with the Powerdyne because it was quiet (compared to
the Vortech) and a really easy install (doesn't need oil), but were I to do
it over I'd probably seriously consider the Kenne Belle (which starts making
boost at really low RPMS and comes with a nice knock sensor/retard unit).
Of course it is about $1k more though.

After talking to the folks from ATI, for 360, 318, and the 289, you should
use the 8-10 psi version for optimal gains, The 12plus range requires some
serious modifications. This is why sometime being cheap in price is not
always good.
