For those interested.

'97 CC, auto., 3.55SG, 4,350lb (truck, appearance mods, driver, 1/2 tank)
'96 MP PCM
MP Magnum R/T cam, lifters, retainers, valve springs, 1.6 roller rockers,
pushrods
F&B Stage I tb
MP (Leach) ceramic-coated headers
Gibson dual rear exit cat-back
26" BFG drag radials
180F tstat, Water Wetter
14x2.25 K&N open air cleaner
Short belt (bypassing a/c and ps)
MP 7.5 wires, Autolite 3923s

Best et: 14.91 best trap: 90.89
No dyno testing (could not find one locally)

MPI added:

   Dyno results.
Measured peak torque: 340.0 Corrected peak torque: 332.5
Measured peak hp: 231.2 Corrected peak hp: 226.1
Best analysis: MPI gave significant torque increase and remained
                   relatively flat from 2000 - 5300 rpm
Highest torque occurred between 1100 - 1700 rpms
HP peaked at 4800 rpm and fell very little to 5600 rpm
(told tester to take it to only 5600)

My challenge: make best use of these dyno numbers in the 1/4.

Bob
