That is a possibility. Try to tun your power wires down one side of the truck
and the audio leads down the other and not beside any factory wire harnesses.

A better ground to the radio may help also. Sometimes the factory ground wire
to the radio head unit is not good enough. I have a Pioneer cd head unit that
fits the Chrysler dash size and 2 Power acoustic amps mounted behind the
passenger seat in my 99 R/T RC and I have absolutely no engine noise under any
volume setting or am or fm or cd play.
