Ok....then why do the '98's have more problems with the pinging than the '97
models??

I guess the 97 was a test dummy adn the 98+ dakotas got perfected... that
makes me wonder, WHY isn't a new flash out for my 97 yet then? Dealership
turned me down cold today.
