I finally got Big Poppa Dak back from the dealer. I have to say it looks
AWESOME. You all are probably wondering why I took it in. Well after
reading the various posts about people with rusts spots on their bumpers
taking in their Daks to get repainted, under warranty. I decided I would try
the same thing. I received my brand new Dak with a couple of dings on both
bumpers (probably from parking after test drives) and a couple of barely
noticeable blemishes on the rear fender. Since I am not a picky person I
only requested that those discrepancies be annotated on the pre-delivery
checksheet (good thing I did). I took it back to the dealer and complained
that the scratches were starting to rust (thanks DML). They gave me no
problem. On Monday in went the Dak to the body shop.They even paid for a
rental (crappy @$$ Ferd asscort). Got it back today and it looks
bee-u-tee-ful. They even coated the black portions of the bumpers with some
shiny clear coat. I wish I had a website to post some pics.
