I don't remember offhand what high temp seal I used. Permatex
something or other, orange colored stuff.

You might want to have a sawzall handy in case you have to cut the old
crossover pipe off. That is unless you are doing just headers and not
the y pipe. If you will be keeping the stock Y pipe it should be a
fairly easy job. Should take an hour or two.
