Our email was shutdown Friday due to the virus, so I don't think this made
it to the DML. If so, I apologize for the double post.

Mike,
There are the ASP's, March's, and someone else that makes a set. I wound up
purchasing the ASP's because they were steel. Wasn't sure how the aluminum
would hold up over time. Anyway, my set is the (3) pulley set. I've been
driving with them now for just over two weeks. They won't allow your
battery to charge at idle, but this doesn't bother me. Battery stays
charged from regular driving. Only complaint I have is the poor quality
finish, or lack there of. Two of the pulleys had no finish on them at all.
The third one was a poor quality baked on paint that chipped just from
looking at it. I took all three pulleys and had them powder coated. (That
cost me almost as much as the pulleys did.) But now they look real sweet,
and run real neat! (he-he-he)
Biggest pain in the butt was finding a belt that fit. Tried using different
ones suggested on the list, but all were too short. I have a '96 318 w/Air.
After buying/exchanging eight or nine different belts, wound up using a
Gates # K060966. Let me know what you wind up with.

Subject: DML: Pulley's?

I'm thinking of buying a set of pulley's since I have to change my
alternator belt. ANy suggestions on brands or where to buy them?
www.truckperformance.com has two different kinds from ASP. (a two pulley
set or a three pulley set ???)

Thinks for the input....
