I asked this question a while ago, but didn't get any concrete answers so I
sent Mancini Racing an e-mail and they replied today.

-----My Message-----
Hello, I have one question regarding either a forged crankshaft or a
performance crankshaft for my 2000 Dakota. Does anyone make one for the 3.9L
V-6 Magnum engine? I have looked, but have had no luck. If they don't have
one for the Magnum do you know whether a crank for a pre-Magnum 3.9L V-6
will work? I'm pretty sure they have the same stroke. All help/suggestions
will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

-----Their Reply-----
Sorry but no one makes a forged crankshaft for the 3.9 V-6 engines. You
might want to contact a crank manufacturer about reworking your crank

Thanks for writing

Maybe some of you gearheads out there were snoozing the first time I asked
this question. So if anybody knows of anyone who sells forged or performance
cranks or knows anyone who modifies stock cranks please tell. Thanks again
