To hopefully stop the loss of brake fluid(and possibly even the lose of
pressure), I ordered 2 master cylinder caps($4 each) and 2 master cylinder
'diaphrams'($2.50 each) today. Every week I have the hood up on my Dak
checking out the fluids and always have to wipe clean the top of the master
cylinder. It does not leak ALOT; just enough to need the top of the master
cylinder to be damp with brake fluid.
It appears to be coming out from one or both of the caps; I really dont
know how the brake fluid is leaking out past the caps/gaskets, but hopfully
the new caps/gaksets will stop this. They will be in tomorrow morning and I
will let everyone know in a week or so how things turn out.
