HOP,
You've got a 4x4... if you plan on ever using that 4-wheel drive to its
potential, I'd say take the air dam off & store it. It doesn't take long for
a rock or roots to reach up and start pulling those off.
I actually removed mine on the back side of an Accord, but I don't recommend
that approach!
Not too sure what you mean about the one on the rear... odd place for an air
dam?

I was wondering if anyone has tried to paint those grey plastic air dams
on the SLT'S... I would like to paint mine black to match the nerf bars.
The same goes for the one on the rear.. I was worried about the paint
chipping off. Also are the one's on black sports painted or are they black
