I agree with ya on that one....even Prestone, Havoline, and Zerex don't
recommend that. Just check the back of your bottles. They list 60/40,
50/50, and 70/30

He might be bs'ing you on the straight anti freeze. In
the 70's i got that tip from a buddy. It took all of
ten minutes (might have been longer, but everything
gets compressed in the minds as the years add up) to
boil over big time. Drained it all and went back to
50/50 and it ran fine.
