Oh I don't disagree on that - disconnecting the battery is always the best
way anyway.

I don't know about the Gen-II's, but on the Gen-III's, you just disconnect
the Black (closest to the firewall) connector from the 'putet, slip the Jet
inline, and reconnect the cable. 61 Pins....damn.

Maybe there is a difference between a Gen II and Gen III on installing a Jet
SII, but I know on my instructions they tell you to disconnect the battery
before removing the connector(that godawful 61 pin jobber)from the computer.
As a "rule of thumb" whenever I'm working on something electrical I yank the
power.
