The process for having your ROM reprogrammed is a fairly simple one... I
wasn't present for the actual event, however your dealer *should* (may) have
a computer there that they use to accomplish things of this sort... One
side note, however, is that the dealer IS NOT allowed (By Law, in
Washington...) to adjust or tamper with the original factory settings. I
was able to get mine done after hours at my local dealership because several
of my friends work there... It requires a dyno, the computer, several
hours, and the awareness that once these limiters are gone, you can grenade
your engine, exceed the speed limit rating for your tires, and several other
obscene things that could potentially happen to you. Cost for me was very
slim, as I had only to buy my buddies a rack of Miller a piece for their
time... Good luck!
