Sometime my blood boils when Road & Track does not considered the high gear
ratios when comparing against other vehicles. Hmm! Some new kid on the
block for a writer. Then you have to correct them on the specification and
why they are that quick. The Dodge Viper has only a 3.08 gear on the rear
but can you imagine a 4.10 rear gear?
Car from Japan I admired for being different and the most HP bang for the
liter was the Mazda RX series. That cool dual rotary had some great
advantages that know one but the few who knew about to exploit the motor.
That is one scary car when pushing into the 500plus range, especially the
high RPM range it can run in.

doubt the Gearss are that high, this car has got some good 100 +MPH power
too, don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have horses adn torque, but
seriously speaking, 3 Valves/Cylinder back in 89 was damn new (4 Valves were
Cool...) this car is damned nice, and according to Mazda it's gopt FAR MORE
Torque than those damned VTECs...
