Grab handles for '99?

We'd like to retrofit the grab handles (on the inside windshield
pillars) that come on the 2000 Dakotas. Will these fit the '99s OK?
Also, I've heard that some people with 2000s don't like them, if so,
I'd be happy to swap panels with someone who has a 2000.
