Check out Intellitronix's line of digital fuel pressure gauges. Summit
carries them, and I think some of them are shown at
http://www.intellitronix.com. The sender just screws right on to the
schraeder valve (test port) on your fuel rail, and the only thing going
into the cab is electrical wires. I had to get an elbow to make it fit
under my air hat, but since you have a GenIII you can probably just plunk
it right down onto it vertically. If you take a look at the last pic in
the MPI install manual, or on-line here:

You can see the sender at the top of the pic. The one I got displays
the fuel pressure in LED numbers, but I think they have an "analog" version
too. (Its got a needle, but its still digital.) I'm pretty happy with it,
and it wasn't too expensive; I think its about $40.
