Just want to step in here and say that not all Best Buys are doing crappy
work. I am the install lead at my store and very proud of the work that my
people do. we have alot of very happy people leave my bay.
plus I am a DML member.....haha 2 stickers!!!! But there are bad installer
out there....kids who have not had proper training.
word of advise....look at the install bay before you agree to any work. make
sure that the installer is MECP certified. Make sure the installer that you
talk to is the one doing the job and understands what you want.
Best Buy installers are supposed to put a seat cover on you seat,do a
checklist to look for any electrical problems as well as scratches and
missing parts inside and out. this is for you as well as the installer.
plus the installer is supposed to give you a written est. of the cost before
you sign the work order. don't sign this if there is nothing written down.
then the same should be done after the truck is pulled out and you are
given a demo of what they installed.
if the install bay does not do this then they do not have you in there best
interest.
but that is my 2 cents worth and hope i help you steer clear of any bad
installers....Best Buy or not.
