Thanks for the compliment Bob (Dad :-D). But I think you're gonna have to
get your eyes rechecked. From a distance the truck looks good, but the
scratches are very prominent when you're close up. As soon as we get some
free time, I'm gonna check out Krown Rust for that stuff you mentioned.
What was it called exactly again?

I was a little disappointed in the awards this year. They only had to
classes for trucks - early and late model. What's up with that? Do they
change the awards every year... on a whim... what? There doesn't seem to be
any standard at these Chrysler sponsored events. I still believe that they
should have a completely separate category for 4x4's seeing as the mods done
to a 4x2 will usually be different than those done for a 4x4. The other
thing that I've noticed at these shows, is that it's all visual. Actual
performance of a vehicle and mods done to a vehicle doesn't hold as much
value as "the look" of the vehicle. Maybe it's just my imagination, but
this was the impression I got. Probably why it's called "show and shine".
Oh well, I guess I'm just too practical. I still think that you should have
received an award... the truck looked and sounded amazing.
