I understand how you feel, fortunately for me
I only bought the upper cover ($40) and was really pissed
over the non working design until I came up with a radical
mod. The only usable part of the Mopar bra is the front grill
piece with the mesh screen. I ended up cutting off the
vinyl hood part and tucked 2 inches behind the Daks grill.
The thing works great and only covers the front of the Dak.
Keeps most bugs outta the radiator and more importantly it
dosen't touch any painted surface. I've had it on for almost
2 years with no problems and it looks very aggressive. I'm
glad I didn't just throw it away.
