YOU CAN NOT STATE THAT ANY TIRE IS THE MAX WIDTH YOU CAN PUT ON A GIVEN RIM
SIZE WITHOUT ALSO KNOWING THE ASPECT RATIO!!!
But yes a 275-60-15 will do just fine on an 8 inch Dakota rim.
