I have never had any type of battery corrosion on my batteries. When I get a
new battery, I am sure to use plenty of 'battery anti-corrosion gel'. They
sell it at most if not all auto part stores and it is like a light red
colored gel. I put this on the posts and then clamp the terminals on and put
a light coat on them with my fingers. It works! Good Luck!
