I've been running a 180 T-stat for the past 5 or 6 years, all 4 seasons. I
haven't had any problems. Gas mileage hasn't changed and the truck runs
great. The computer in our trucks are calibrated to run best at about 180.
Unless the OBDII is drastically different then the OBDI.
